The Story of The Mavis Named after the legendary Mavis Staples, this piece reflects a deep, rich sound quality and a timeless spirit. This restored mid-century stereo console was discovered in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The original owner’s memory of dancing around it as a child solidified our mission: to preserve a family legacy while creating a modernized vintage audio console for the next generation.
Innovative Function for the Modern Audiophile Hand-built by the artisans at Steiner Audio, The Mavis is the epitome of Classic Form, Innovative Function. We have meticulously preserved the elegant maple veneer cabinet while gutting the outdated components to house a high-fidelity powerhouse.
