Shipping & Logistics

Our Philosophy: No Crates. Just Care.
We believe a vintage stereo console is a piece of history, not just cargo. Because of the delicate nature of these mid-century units, Steiner Audio does not use standard freight crating. Crates can be tipped, dropped, or mishandled by forklifts in massive warehouses. Instead, we specialize in Blanket-Wrapped, White-Glove Delivery. This ensures your restored piece arrives in the same pristine condition it left our Memphis workshop.
How the Process Works
- The Legwork: Once you have selected a unit, I personally handle the logistics. I source quotes from trusted, independent drivers using platforms like Shiply and uShip.
- Driver Vetting: I don't just pick the cheapest price. I review every driver's history, equipment, and feedback to ensure your console is in safe hands.
- The Legwork: Once you have selected a unit, I personally handle the logistics. I source quotes from trusted, independent drivers using platforms like Shiply and uShip.
- Direct Booking: To keep costs transparent, the buyer pays the shipping service directly. This ensures you are not paying a "markup" on logistics.
- Preparation: Before the driver arrives at my Memphis workshop, I personally prep the unit for travel, ensuring all components are secured for transit.
